The Front Desk Clerk interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in the system; Answer incoming phone calls.
Greet patients, check in patients, Filing, answering phones, provides back up support for business office, scanning documentation.
Required Skills:
High school graduate or equivalent.
One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
Chart preparation experience preferred.
Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial Bilingual preferred.
Good communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
