I would prefer to have staff that live in the Central Georgia area (Macon, Gray, Warner Robins, Milledgeville, Byron, Eatonton, etc) We travel with company vehicles and equipment that is stationed in Gray, GA.
We run bass fishing tournaments and cover the Southeast U.
S.
Having a Class A CDL is a plus but not required since we are pulling a stage trailer or a release boat with company vehicles.
Candidates should have a clean MVR and can pull and back trailers.
Candidates should have knowledge on boat operation, and general fishing knowledge.
Candidates must be drug free and be able to pass a drug test at any time.
Perfect for someone self employed, newly retired, military retired or someone with plenty of free time.
Tournament season is typically January through June and then September and October.
The events are usually 2 to 4 days away from home mostly Thursday through Saturday or sometimes Wednesday through Saturday.
Later in the year some events extend to Sunday as well.
Some special events are longer but it depends on the schedule and location.
Pay is per event and varies.
The positions consist of traveling to locations, setting up stage trailer for registration and weigh-in, working the registration and weigh in, releasing the fish afterwards, and traveling home.
We are the hands on behind the scene people that conduct fishing tournaments.
There is a little more to it than that but that's the general idea of the job.
These positions don't come available often.
My previous staff just retired after 7 years with me.
