The job includes significant amounts of multi-tasking.
The ideal candidate would be expected to:
Answer multi-line phones and triage calls if needed Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in, and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data Provide patients with intake and new patient forms, copies of our office policies and legally required documents Collect/process payments from patients for co-pays, deductibles, and uninsured visits Check out patients and schedule their next appointment Insurance and billing knowledge is a plus Schedule appointments for new and existing patients based on Physician and NP availability Maintain accurate and current hard copy/electronic medical records as well as the files stored in our EHR Scan appropriate paperwork in patient's chart Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
