This national health system is seeking a board certified/board eligible Trauma Surgeon to join our hospital located in Jacksonville, part of Floridas largest healthcare system with 11,000 physician colleagues.
This surgeon will join a strong trauma surgical team providing acute care surgery and surgical ICU care.
Qualified Candidates:
Board certified in General Surgery with Added Qualifications in Surgical Critical Care.
Have a current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Florida - notsubject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditionsNo history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdictionHave current, unrestricted DEA registrationPosition:
Permanent positions with equitable scheduling model and unique work/rest model (14 shifts per month; 12 hours per shift on call)Supported by a multispecialty team of Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery and Interventional Radiology26 ORs and 36 ICU beds combined TICU/MICU56-bed emergency department with 2 dedicated trauma bays and 4 additional critical care bays2000
