River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Maintenance Entry Worker to join our maintenance team.

00 pm ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Completes work orders assigned to them promptly based on priority.
Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door, or wall repair.
Painting I staining both interior and exterior applications.
Preventative maintenance as assigned.
Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas.
Assist in the coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members.
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One plus year experience in facility maintenance or equivalent.
Drywalling including painting.
Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building.
Basic knowledge of plumbing.
Basic knowledge of electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Related experience preferred.
On-the-job training offered.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Fully COVID Vaccinated.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward.
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time.
