98 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago The Supply Technician (ST) shall manage all aspects of assigned inventory and procurement for the CMS program.
The Supply Technician shall manage inventory levels in accordance with required stock levels.
In addition to the general requirements above, Supply Technician tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and protocols including use of PPE, buddy care, etc.
Retain expertise of, and demand compliance with contract Standard Operating Procedures and Process Instructions.

Maintain expert knowledge of the contract requirements as they apply to Hazardous Material management and procurement, inventory, delivery, and POS transactions.
Provide direct procurement support and relative communication to all point of use locations.
Coordinate with Material Expeditors to ensure seamless transport of HM between all required areas.
Compute amount of material needed for specific job demands by consulting with Material Coordinators and Work Leads, as necessary.
Compile inventory and usage reports in efforts to manage site-wide and stock levels.
Develop and produce other required reports.
Direct coordination with Hazardous Material Buyer to manage prescribed stock levels.
Follow-up on orders in process and conduct expedite actions when required utilizing various forms of communication including internet, e-mail, telephone, and fax.
Receive individual procurement, inventory and/or stock management case problems and conduct logistical, special research-tasks to ensure resolution.
Ensure compliance with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintain exceptional working knowledge of EESOH-MIS and Chemical Management Information System (CMIS) including but not limited to:
computer navigation and applicable work-related applications, report generation e.
g.
inventory management, status of orders, materials in storage.
Entry of new Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and update of current SDS' to include electronic scanning of manufacturer SDS'.
Operate motor vehicles, motorized scooters, golf-carts, forklifts, bicycles, and/or burden carriers as assigned.
Company employees shall abide by and enforce Company rules, policies and SOPs.
Other duties as assigned.
May be temporarily assigned to other duties as necessary to meet contract requirements.
Qualification Requirements Must be a citizen of the United States.
Must maintain a valid state driver's license and a clean driving record at all times.
Must pass criminal and financial background check prior to hire and must be able to pass and sustain the DLA PSI background check criteria during the entire duration of their employment.
Minimum three (3) years experience using government supply systems.
Experience with Hazardous Material Tracking System within past five (5) years.
Must be able to safely lift 60 lbs.

High School Diploma or an equivalent.
Significant expertise in controlling and managing, distributing and storing hazardous materials.
Must possess acceptable computer operations and database entry skills.
Must possess acceptable interpersonal, organization, communication, and customer service skills.
Must present a neat and professional appearance consistent with the workplace environment.
