Performs a variety of laboratory examinations and tests including specialized or experimental procedures using state of the art equipment assuring rapid and accurate results.
Supervises lesser qualified employees of the section.
Plusses Someone who has worked in a hospital setting.
Level 1 Trauma experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor's Degree in Medical Lab Science - Has to include 30 quarter hours lecture in science, 10 in chemistry, 15 in biology, 5 of math MT, MLS, CLT, CLS, AMT -- Registered by the board of registry Newly graduated tech would need to pass a certification exam within 12 months.
