We are looking for individuals who have a passion for their community and desire to impact change through our Rural and Public Health AmeriCorps Programs.
AmeriCorps members have wonder benefits that include:
$2,000 Monthly Stipend Service 40 Hours a week $6,495 Money for College and Trade School Education award ( upon completion ) Health Insurance Professional Development Training Alumni Network Experience in grounds maintenance or a related field preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Experience using a variety of tools such as electric drill, skill saw, levels, framing square, socket set, wrench set, screwdrivers, flashlight, and tape measure.
Some experience in electrical, plumbing, irrigation and/or landscaping preferred.
Experience maintaining turf grass, flowerbeds, or landscape equipment helpful.

AmeriCorps Members will serve indirect services such as capacity-building activities that will expand, scale, reach, efficiency, and effectiveness of rural organizations to enable them to provide more, better, and sustained direct services in South Georgia.
