As a Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant in an attorney's office, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and telephone inquiries.
Your primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service, manage the reception area efficiently, and support the office's administrative functions.

Responsibilities:
Welcoming Visitors and Clients:
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the reception area.
Direct clients to the appropriate attorney or staff member.
Answering and Directing Calls:
Manage incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
Take messages and provide basic information to callers.
Handle general inquiries and provide initial assistance.
Scheduling and Appointments:
Schedule appointments for clients with attorneys.
Manage the attorney's calendar to ensure efficient use of their time.
Coordinate and confirm appointments with clients.
Administrative Support:
Assist with general administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.
Maintain and update client files and databases.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Office Coordination:
Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.
Keep the reception area tidy and organized.
Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in using office equipment and computer software (e.

Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is desirable but optional.
