New Pathology Locums Job in Georgia

Possible need for ongoing coverage in 2025
Daily hours 8AM-5PM
Details/Requirements for Assignment :

- Must have active Georgia license and Board Certification in AP/CP Pathology
- Average number of cases:
100 surgical cases split between all Pathologists. Hemapathologist handles all bone marrow.
- Cases include:
GI Biopsies, skin biopsies, prostate biopsies, bladder biopsies, laryngeal biopsies, breast biopsies, lung biopsies (for tumors)
- Types of Cytology - 5-10 GYN, 15-20 non-GYN cytology including FNA cases (Smears, thinpreps, cell blocks) cases distributed evenly
- Will work with 3 other Pathologists and 3-4 Histotechs
- Four transcriptionists that use Voicebrook recognition
- There are 2 cytotechs and 1 cyto prep tech.
- There are 2 PAs on site to Gross and cut frozen sections and there are 3 Path Support employees for gross room/accessioning.
- No call expected
- EMR at the hospital is EPIC
