What Does a Valet Parking Supervisor Do? Lead a team of valets, ensuring guests receive red-carpet treatment at every turn.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manage, direct, and oversee the parking operation and staff.
Handle guest-related concerns, questions, claims, and service issues.
Ensure associates follow proper attendance and timekeeping procedures.
Conduct required staff meetings, communicating pertinent daily information before each shift.
Maintain a work-friendly atmosphere and a team environment.
Communicate effectively with associates, guests, and managers.
Conduct proper tip handling, including shift cuts, tip share, and reporting.
Anticipate guest needs, resolve issues proactively, and exceed expectations.
Supervise valet team to ensure proper key handling and safe, efficient parking/retrieval of vehicles.
Follow proper procedures for associate or guest incidents/accidents.
Maintain a safe environment for associates and guests.
Other duties as assigned by guest service manager or city manager.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions and may stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
Physical demands include running to and from vehicles and parking areas multiple times during a shift, running 200 yards, up to 75 times during a shift, and quickly getting in and out of various types and sizes of vehicles.

Qualifications for a Valet Parking Supervisor:
At least 18 years old.
Customer service experience.
Basic math skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks.
Ability to run, retrieve vehicles, and lift luggage up to 50 pounds.
Leadership skills and ability to lead a team.
Ability to drive a standard (stick-shift) vehicle.
Use of personal cell phones may be required for work purposes.
