Job Summary: Responds to customer's request for new products through counter sales, phone sales and new replacement units for in-house repairs. Prepares new product quotes and sales orders. Follows-up on existing quotes and orders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Will make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
Communicates product features, applications and technical capabilities to new and existing customers. This includes product knowledge of motors, pumps, blowers, variable frequency drives and various switchgear products.
Recommends alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications.
Handle inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
Emphasize salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
Track stock levels and will be responsible for stock items.
Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
Expedite deliveries as needed to meet customer's expectations.
Prepare reports of business transactions.
Enter new customer and sales data for customers into computer database.
Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software.
Setup and maintain customer files.
In charge for stock motors and drives and provide those to customer and follow up with Outside Sales personnel.
Capable to provide packages and value sales
Observe all safety procedures and policies and use proper protective equipment (especially eye, ear protection and steel toe shoes/boots, gloves, etc.)
Keep work area clean and organized.
All other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience:



High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with 2-3 years' experience working in a motor shop or in a similar industry.
Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Ability to manipulate and manage spreadsheets. Additionally, must be familiar with MS Dynamics AX and work proficiently within that program.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Intermediate to advanced in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Bilingual (English, Spanish) a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
