The second largest hospital in Georgia is seeking to employ a board certified/board eligible Family Practice or Emergency medicine physician wishing to practice in a high volume/high acuity Urgent Care center that functions like a level 2 or 3 emergency center. The center treats 70 to 90 patients a day and supports a level 1 trauma center. The physician will coordinate and facilitate clinical, administrative and professional activities as delegated by the Medical Director and Administration, as well as, collaborate with other physicians, staff and community agencies to provide continuity of care for patients in any designated setting. The physician ensures all services are delivered safely, confidentially and promptly. The physician must possess excellent clinical and quick decision-making skills. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records is vital. Two years experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency setting is preferred.
