This position serves as the IT partner for the organization to support operations and ensures IT needs are met.
Project design, implementation, maintenance and support of networks.
Install, configure, manage and upgrade Microsoft and virtual servers, Citrix MetaFrame and MicrosoftExchange.
Plan, coordinate, implement and maintain network security measures to protect data, software and hardware.
Manage Windows Server 2003-2012, Windows 7-8, Microsoft Office, Active Directory and Network (DHCP, DNS, VLAN, Routing), local installations, mobile devices, databases, and email systems.
Manage networks at enterprise level, including, anti-virus, back-ups, spam filters and SSL.
Install and configure operating systems, troubleshoot and repair computers, monitors, and peripherals (printers, scanners and other related hardware).
Troubleshoot to solve hardware and software problems.
Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
Maintain a professional, calm and confident demeanor in stressful situations.
Maintain detailed documentation of network changes, configurations and standard work.
Education of end user when needed; and support staff.
Qualifications/Competencies
1. Bachelors degree or Technical School Graduate with experience is preferred; minimum 3 years of experience in network administration.
2. Strong organizational and time management skills; able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
3. Self-directed - takes initiative daily.
4. Applies critical thinking, problem solving, and common sense.
5. Excellent active listening and communication skills with customers and co-workers.
6. MCSE, MCP / Systems Engineer, IT Professional, Server Administrator, Administrator
o VMWare / virtualization
o A+, Network +, Security +
7. Experience in industrial/manufacturing environment a plus!
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
