Plumbing Apprentice

Candidates must first and foremost conduct themselves with honesty and integrity. A plumber apprentice must have mechanical aptitude. This position is meant to be an opportunity for an individual to learn the plumbing trade and in particular, the Mr. Rooter system of providing superior customer service in a residential and light commercial setting. The plumbing apprentice must have a strong desire to serve clients and develop the ability to not only perform plumbing repairs but also sell necessary work by communicating with a client what is causing their plumbing issues and explaining the necessary repairs and how much it will cost. Persons who are not comfortable dealing directly with clients on a daily basis in regards to selling and performing plumbing repairs should not apply.
Prior plumbing experience is a plus but not mandatory. We will provide technical training and eventually sales/service training. Apprentices with be paid $10/hr. A forty hour work week is guaranteed. There is usually overtime each week. Apprentices will be expected to be available to their direct trainer even on days off unless previously requested off.
Must be 21 due to insurance regulations. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
