Lead .NET Software Engineer

GEICO's Corporate Support team is seeking a highly-motivated, innovative, and creative Lead Software Engineer with proven project management skills.
You will be responsible for leading senior and junior level developers, analysts, and contractors who support HR and Financial applications including; custom applications, SaaS systems, and Office 365.
You and your team will be building, configuring, and maintaining systems across the enterprise using emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate must be able to take full ownership of tasks and coordinate projects across multiple teams.
You must possess a demonstrated ability to perform to defined timelines and drive deliverables to completion.

Qualifications:
Lead and inspire a team of analysts, developers, and contractors, providing feedback and direction on design and code reviews Coordinate work, establish processes, and develop best practices Possess flexibility and the ability to manage shifting priorities and projects Coach and mentor staff to develop a highly productive team Desired Skills:
3-5 years of experience in IT project management Experience with C#, ASP.
Net, SQL, and front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Experience with an iterative Agile SDLC pattern strongly preferred SharePoint knowledge and Azure experience a plus Strong financial background preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills About GEICO For more than 75 years, GEICO has stood out from the rest of the insurance industry!
